He serves as the national leader of Aprio’s Professional Services+ and Aprio Firm Alliance programs. Dean coaches and mentors many leaders from top professional firms across the United States and Canada. Drawing on his extensive experience leading an association of professional service firms, Dean offers valuable insights into client and people strategies, processes, and technological advancements that help firms remain relevant and future-focused. He is keen to identify broader industry trends, offering guidance on future directions and connecting clients with the right people and tools to achieve their goals.
His specialties include advising leadership teams within firms on industry trends, working as a strategic coach to firm-wide leaders, and connecting firms to a larger ecosystem of relationships to help them be more compelling and relevant.
Education & Affiliations
Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Master’s in Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Dean is professionally affiliated with the AICPA and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
