Aprio’s Jungsub Lee Joins Board for Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County

ATLANTA – August 30, 2022 – Aprio, LLP, nationally recognized and one of the fastest growing business advisory and CPA firms, is excited to announce that Jungsub Lee, Senior Manager in Global Mobility, has been selected as the newest member of the board of directors for the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County in California. As a native Korean speaker specializing in international and domestic relocation tax planning with many Korean-based companies as clients, Jungsub’s new appointment allows him to give back directly to his community by utilizing his 15+ years of accounting experience.  

Jungsub will be responsible for advising and supporting businesses and leaders involved in the Korean American Chamber of Orange County. Aligned with their mission statement, “to promote the success and advancement of our members through networking, education, advocacy, and collaboration with all of Orange County area community,” he will be voting on board decisions, participating in networking events, and representing the organization and Aprio in the larger Orange County community. Jungsub will also be attending the upcoming 20th World Korean Business Convention scheduled to take place on November 1 – 3, 2022, in Ulsan, Korea.

As Aprio’s Global Mobility senior manager within the International Tax division, Jungsub advises multinational companies that are pursuing foreign assignment for their work forces, with clients that include Korea-based companies that are looking to set up subsidiaries in the U.S., as well as U.S.-based companies that are looking to expand into Korea. He works with companies of all sizes, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. 

Established in 1978, the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Orange County is a nonprofit organization comprised of Orange County Korean American Business and leaders interested in enhancing the Orange County community. The KACCOC serves as the bridge between Korean business, mainstream business, local government, neighborhood minority business association, and the general business community in Orange County, with a focus on strengthening the Korean Business community by identifying needs and opportunities. Jungsub was formally inducted to the KACCOC’s board at their August meeting on August 25, 2022.
