Who I work with
I work closely with CEOs, CFOs and managers of multinational companies with $50M+ in revenue. My clients are mainly foreign-owned subsidiaries in the United States that need accurate financials and advisory work to report to their parent companies. I aim to help those I work with in solving cross-border transaction needs, bridge international relationships for a successful business, and provide assurance to investors in a multifaceted cultural environment.
My specialty
I specialize in advising Korean-speaking clients to provide business strategy and support to be successful in their operations in the United States. I help multinational clients reduce risk and bridge cross-cultural gaps to achieve their business objectives. I spend most of my time advising clients on cross-border transactions. My industry expertise is in the Electric Vehicles supply chain, technology, energy trade, manufacturing and distribution. Prior to joining Aprio, I received a significant amount of experience working alongside various Fortune 500 companies.

- Audit, US GAAP and IFRS financial reporting services
- Internal control optimization for publicly traded companies for J-SOX and K-SOX
- Tariff analysis and review for US subsidiaries
- Global Accounting Systems Implementation (i.e. SAP FI CO)

Unique things about me
I was born in South Korea and I have lived in South Africa and Zimbabwe as an Expat family and currently reside in Atlanta Georgia in the United States. I develop close relationships with clients, many of whom represent renown publicly traded multinational organizations.
When I'm not at work
I serve on the Board and lead U.S. – Korea economic diplomacy as President of the Southeast U.S. Korean Chamber of Commerce (www.seuskcc.org).
During my spare time I enjoy serving at my local Korean church, attending conferences, golfing, travelling, and spending time with family and my daughter.
