Melisa Beauchamp

Non-Profit and Education Leader

Melisa is the leader of the Non-Profit and Education group at Aprio. She has served clients across the United States in areas of tax compliance, financial reporting, auditing and tax-exempt consulting. She is known for her extensive expertise in private foundations, public charities and other charitable estate planning entities.

Melisa’s expertise in the tax-exempt industry is unique, as she has experience both as a consultant and as an executive director of an operating private foundation. She ensures her clients can contact her regardless of the time of day or time zone they may reside in. Melisa strongly believes non-profits positively change their communities, which is why she is dedicated to helping her clients succeed.

Melisa provides exceptional advice because she understands the depth and breadth that any one decision could affect. She has managed a non-profit, worked with high wealth donors on charitable planning, and has technical compliance expertise. This combined knowledge allows Melisa to dive deeper into the impacts of potential decisions with her clients.  Melisa empowers non-profits by educating them on tax compliance, succession planning, board responsibilities and fundraising opportunities. During her 12-year career, Melisa has helped clients resolve issues with the Internal Revenue Service and various state agencies.

Melisa earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting, with a concentration in taxation, from Wichita State University. She also holds board positions and volunteers time to the following non-profit organizations:
