Who I work with
I work closely with business owners who own their own real estate with a cost of over $1 million, and are looking to accelerate their current year deductions, but have not performed a cost segregation study.
My specialty
I have more than 20 years of experience performing fixed asset accounting from cost segregation and cost allocation studies to fixed asset reviews. Throughout my career, I have gained technical experience working on, managing, or reviewing projects varying in fixed asset size from a few hundred thousand dollars to hundreds of millions of dollars. In my role as Director, I lead and mentor the Aprio cost segregation team to improve internal processes, add value and lower taxable income.
Unique things about me
In one day, I hiked 12 miles down and out of the Grand Canyon spending about a third of the time going down and the remaining time working my way back out.
When I am not at work
My family loves to travel. We get away whenever we can, especially in the summer months where we drive around in our travel trailer. Our general rule when traveling is to learn something new, be one with nature and make it fun.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from West Texas A&M University and my Associate in Applied Science degree in Management from Amarillo College. I am an enrolled agent with the IRS and certified member of the ASCSP.
