Rick Rubin, CPA


Rick is a partner in Aprio’s Professional Services group. Though the group services professional service providers of all types, Rick specializes in enabling the success of healthcare clients, predominantly serving dental and medical practices. Additionally, Rick represents small business entrepreneurs.

Rick has a rich background in individual and corporate taxation, retirement plans and small business planning and assists his clients as they grow from startup through an exit event, such as an M&A transaction or retirement.

He is considered a thought leader on individual and corporate taxation issues affecting today’s dental and medical practices. Rick is the co-author of For Georgia Doctors: fresh ideas on asset protection, tax, practice planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, the first-ever financial and legal resource book specifically for Georgia healthcare professionals. Rick has previously authored articles for Atlanta Hospital News and regularly teaches seminars on a variety of topics, ranging from year-end tax planning to medical practice management tips and the buying and selling of professional practices.

Rick earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia. His professional affiliations include memberships in the:
