Construction Executive developed the ranking by surveying U.S. accounting firms with construction practices. Rankings were determined by an algorithm that weighed 2025 construction practice revenues, the number of CPAs in the construction practice, the percentage of total firm revenues derived from construction, the number of states in which the firm is licensed to practice, the year the construction practice was established, and the number of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) clients served in 2025.
