ATLANTA – July 28, 2026 – The Aprio Foundation, the charitable arm of Aprio, the 20th largest business advisory and accounting firm in the U.S., is proud to announce the recipients of its first grant cycle for 2026. Demonstrating a continued commitment to making a difference, the Foundation awarded $117,500 in grants to 14 nonprofit organizations across the U.S. Building on prior years, these grants continue to advance education, entrepreneurship, environmental stewardship, and economic stability in the communities where Aprio team members live and work.
“Every grant in this cycle started with an Aprio team member who saw a need in their own community and wanted to do something about it,” said Michele Blondheim, vice president of Corporate Social Responsibility and executive director of the Aprio Foundation. “That’s what makes this work so meaningful. We’re supporting the causes our people care about most and helping create real, lasting change where they live and work; and we’re proud to begin our 2026 grant cycles by investing in 14 organizations that are doing extraordinary work.”
This year’s first grant cycle welcomes new and continued relationships with outstanding nonprofits and continued support for meaningful programs that align with the Foundation’s vision.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (Georgia) makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Blue Heron Nature Preserve, Inc. (Georgia) creates a personal experience with nature through conservation, education and the arts.
Chattahoochee Nature Center (Georgia) inspires lifelong connections with nature through the Chattahoochee River by operating a wildlife rehabilitation center, promoting native plant conservation, donating fresh produce through its Unity Garden, and hosting community and volunteer events while supporting conservation across the Chattahoochee River watershed.
Community FoodBank of New Jersey Inc. (New Jersey) serves as a champion for addressing root causes of hunger, delivering neighbor-centered solutions and fostering collaborative partnerships across all sectors of society for New Jersey.
Creating Connected Communities (Georgia) provides life-enhancing programs for children experiencing hardship by empowering teens to become engaged community leaders and volunteers.
Food on Foot (California) assists unhoused and low-income individuals by providing nutritious meals, essential resources, and pathways to self-sufficiency through life-skills training, employment, and permanent housing.
Jewish Family & Career Services (Georgia) strengthens and enriches the lives of individuals, families, and communities of all faiths, helping them meet the challenges of daily life. Its services span older-adult care, child and family programs, clinical and mental-health counseling, career support services, and disability services.
Mary’s Center (Maryland and The District of Colombia) embraces all communities and provides high-quality healthcare, education, and social services to build better futures.
Next Generation Men & Women (Next Gen) (Georgia) builds bridges for students who have been traditionally overlooked to prepare them for success after graduation. Through exposure to college and career options and consistent support from mentors, Next Gen opens doors and makes connections to help students discover their full potential.
North Fulton Community Charities (Georgia) eases hardship and fosters financial stability through emergency assistance, food, seasonal assistance, education, and workforce development.
100 Black Men of New York (New York) plays a proactive role in leveraging collective talent, ability, and energy toward achieving meaningful gains in our low-income communities. Their initiatives focus on education through mentoring, wealth building strategies, fostering economic development, and raising awareness of health issues affecting our communities.
The Arc of San Antonio (Texas) exists to improve the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and those who care for them in Bexar and surrounding counties through direct care, case management and coordination services, and participation in advocacy and community collaborations.
The HOPE Program (New York) empowers New Yorkers to build sustainable futures through comprehensive training, jobs, advancement and lifelong career support.
The Trail Conservancy (Texas) protects, enhances, and connects the Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake in Austin for the benefit of all.
Established in 2016, the Aprio Foundation has worked to drive meaningful social change by championing local and national nonprofits through financial support, volunteer-led initiatives, and in-kind donations. In 2025, the Foundation distributed Community Impact Grants to 66 nonprofits, totaling $393,500 in funding directed toward education, economic empowerment, and sustainable solutions for underserved communities.
