Alan highlights that while AI is a powerful tool for processing data and improving efficiency, it cannot replace the trust, judgment, and relationships that advisors provide.
“AI is genuinely impressive at pattern recognition, synthesis and speed. But it has little situational awareness on its own,” Alan shares. “It doesn’t know that a company’s CFO is six months from retirement, that the board is divided on a capital decision, or that a key customer relationship is more fragile than it looks on paper.”
He notes that even as AI grows in importance, clients continue to rely on personalized guidance, especially when navigating complex financial and business decisions.
