Jason is a risk management specialist with more than 20 years of experience in business processes, IT governance, and cyber compliance. He leads Aprio’s Chicago RAAS team, uniquely working with both high-growth companies entering the market and established enterprises alike to help them meet compliance requirements while leveraging technology and applying his team’s deep experience to operate more efficiently. His focus areas include System and Organization Controls (SOC) reporting (SOC 1, SOC 2), ISO certifications (ISO 27001, 42001, and more), HIPAA/HITRUST, PCI DSS, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
Jason takes a collaborative approach to compliance, helping clients work with their own customers to meet requirements in ways that support both sides of the relationship, and establishing his team as a trusted advisor throughout the process. He is also active in his local business community, including the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Chicago Chapter.
In the two years since Aprio’s expansion in Chicago, the firm has built practices focused on the needs of high-growth individuals and companies and established enterprises, giving Midwest clients direct access to experienced guidance across various industries.
