One Hundred Black Men of New York Honors Aprio’s Fred Davis

September 7, 2026 – Fred Davis, Nonprofit & Education Tax Partner at Aprio, is recognized as the 2026 Golf Classic Member Honoree by the One Hundred Black Men of New York (OHBM). He received this honor during the organization’s annual Golf Classic on August 4th.

The Member Honoree distinction is awarded to an internal leader whose service exemplifies OHBM’s values and advances its mission. Presented during the second day of the Golf Classic, which is dedicated to celebrating leadership and excellence, the recognition highlights individuals whose volunteer leadership creates meaningful impact in their communities and within the organization.

At Aprio, Fred focuses on nonprofit and education clients. His work spans a range of engagements, including high-net-worth individuals, private equity firms, financial services entities, and not-for-profit organizations, with particular depth in the nonprofit space. He also writes and advises on technical nonprofit tax matters, including topics like unusual grants and their effect on the public support test. He was named to the Forbes 2026 Best-In-State CPAs list.

Fred has long demonstrated a commitment to leadership, mentorship, and community engagement. In addition to serving Aprio’s clients, he is actively involved in several organizations, including the One Hundred Black Men, the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), and Hofstra University’s Board of Trustees.
