Overview
Alison works closely with Aprio’s leaders to evaluate and adapt the firm’s policies and services to changing regulations, accounting, and audit* standards. Serving as a member of Aprio’s corporate development team, she guides acquisition due diligence and new team adoption of the firm’s processes and standards.
Experience
Specializing in technical accounting, audit quality control, and risk management, Alison strives to help ensure that the firm is positioning clients and acquisition partners for success through high-quality services that exceed professional standards. She has over 15 years of extensive experience in GAAP financial reporting, analysis of financial statements for complex business combinations, and the assessment of contracts and legal agreements.
Education & Affiliations
Alison earned her Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Georgia. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA).
