
Overview
Amanda has more than 20 years of experience advising companies on their comprehensive audit* and assurance* services for employee benefit plans. Her services are industry-agnostic and include a focus on large companies with plans for more than 120 participants.
Experience
She provides guidance on defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, plans requiring 11-K filing, and health and welfare plans, with assets ranging from $600,000 to over $200 million. Some of the complex issues she addresses include prevailing wage matters, complex investment valuation, plan termination and merger issues, and a variety of operational compliance issues and their impact on financial statements.
Amanda specializes in employee benefit plan audit and financial reporting as well as plan compliance with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Labor (DOL) regulations.
Education & Affiliations
Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Washington and Jefferson College. Her affiliations currently include the Society for Human Resource Management, the National Center for Employee Ownership, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
