
Overview
As a Partner with Aprio’s Assurance Services team, Andrew works with owners and executives of midmarket construction and manufacturing companies, bringing the skills, experience, and client-first focus to help construction and manufacturing firms overhaul their financial reporting and accelerate their growth. Andrew specializes in helping clients with their financial reporting needs, adopting new accounting standards, consolidating new subsidiaries, and raising capital/securing financing.
Experience
Andrew has more than a decade of experience in public accounting and works primarily with the manufacturing, distribution, and construction industries. He has experience reviewing and preparing comprehensive annual financial reports, which have been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. He has also presented at several conferences on federal grant audit requirements and GASB pronouncements. Andrew enjoys developing relationships with business owners and management teams, being a sounding board for them to relay their struggles and bringing workable solutions to their problems.
Education & Affiliations
Andrew earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the State University of New York College at Potsdam and his Master’s in Business Administration from Union College in New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as well as the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). He is also a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
Andrew currently serves as Treasurer for the Matthews Rotary Club and is on the Board of Directors for Project Outpour.
