Who I work with
I work with family-owned businesses and high-net-worth families. I have deep experience helping retail and professional services clients navigate complex tax matters.
My specialty
I use my technical tax and strategic planning experience to provide clients with actionable strategies to increase cash flow and preserve working capital so they can grow with less debt. I help my clients look ahead to spot opportunities and I excel at communicating complex tax concepts in simple terms so they can make better, informed business decisions and approach transactions with confidence.
Results I have delivered
I believe that proactively gaining first-hand knowledge of a client’s business is the key to delivering results. An onsite meeting and facilities tour helped me identify over $1 million in R&D tax credits for a client and create an estate planning strategy that saved my client an additional $5 million in estate taxes over time.

In 2012, I participated in the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa.
When I am not at work
I enjoy exploring the great outdoors and photographing picturesque sunsets. My favorite pastimes are hiking, biking, rafting and watching sporting events.
