Who I work with
I’m passionate about helping clients improve their accounting processes to make their internal financials more reliable. My clients include developers and owners of mid-size to large renewable energy and affordable housing companies as well as executive directors and controllers of governmental housing authorities. My goal is always to bring innovation and leadership to every client I’m privileged to serve.
My specialty
I specialize in auditing, financial reporting, general real estate and renewable energy development. In particular, I help clients generate more cash flow from their properties and understand the complex state requirements related to LIHTC credits at the completion of real estate development projects. I’m passionate about improving technical aspects of clients’ operations that result in new efficiencies and focus on providing hands-on client service, especially when performing audits for clients.
Unique things about me
I played football my freshman year at Appalachian State University and won the first football National Championship in the state of North Carolina.
When I am not at work
I enjoy spending time with my family skiing, snowboarding and attending Appalachian State and Carolina Panther football games.

I earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University. I am a member of the AICPA and North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
