Who I work with
I work closely with owners, CEOs, CFOs and finance and accounting managers of organizations within the manufacturing and distribution industry. I have depth of experience working with small to medium sized companies and clients with revenues ranging from $5 million to $500 million, many of whom specialize in the chemical products, trucking and flooring sectors of the industry.
My specialty
By proactively tax planning and forecasting, I advance the business goals for my manufacturing clients and advise them on various tax matters, such as R&D tax credits, sales and use tax and general accounting. I work collaboratively with Aprio’s specialty teams to increase my clients’ bottom line by identifying opportunities for operational improvement to develop efficiencies that can be implemented throughout their organization. My specialties include corporate tax, understanding and leveraging tax credits, maximizing deductions through tax planning, and assisting clients with compliance risks for state and local tax jurisdictions.
Results I have delivered
I am passionate about helping clients discover new opportunities to achieve their end goals. Part of this includes uncovering ways to add value back to their company. In doing so, we assisted a client with two net operating loss (NOL) carryback claims that resulted in a federal tax refund of more than $1 million.
Unique things about me
I am a fanatic when it comes to keeping my truck clean. In high school a few friends and I started our own mobile car detailing company. You’ll never find me paying to have my trucked washed!
When I am not at work
I enjoy spending time with my 4-year-old daughter and traveling to the Caribbean with my wife. I love watching and attending sporting events, especially football. I have volunteered to coach middle school football for my high school alma mater, Campbell High School.

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with my Master of Accountancy and received my Bachelor of Arts from Georgia Southern University in Economics. I am also a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs.
