Overview
Cole is a Director in Aprio’s Corporate Development practice. He leads execution for Aprio’s mergers & acquisitions (M&A) activity, partnering with business owners and leadership teams from initial underwriting through closing to structure combinations that position them for long-term success with Aprio.
Experience
Cole specializes in M&A execution, financial analysis, and process management. Before joining Aprio, he served as a Vice President at an investment banking group where he advised private equity funds and strategic acquirers on sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. Throughout his career, Cole has helped execute or advise on more than $1 billion in transactions.
Education & Affiliations
Cole earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an active volunteer and serves on the Young Professionals Board at the First Tee – Greater Charlotte, a youth development organization.
