Dave is a Partner in Aprio’s Accounting and Assurance* practice, where he leads engagements for closely held and middle-market clients across a range of industries, including real estate, healthcare, construction, manufacturing, professional services, technology, nonprofit organizations, government, and employee benefit plans. With more than a decade of experience, he brings deep proficiency in audit and assurance services, including audits performed under Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and Single Audit engagements.
Experience
Dave has over 13 years of public accounting experience, beginning his career at Isdaner & Company, LLC in 2013, where he advanced to Partner. He has extensive experience managing all phases of assurance engagements, delivering high-quality audits that emphasize accuracy, regulatory compliance, and clear communication with executive and financial leadership teams. Dave specializes in serving closely held and family-owned businesses, providing practical, technically sound guidance to navigate complex accounting and reporting requirements.
Education & Affiliations
Dave earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accounting degrees from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Dave has served on various audit, technical, and marketing committees and has been active as a PICPA Ambassador. He also previously served on the Board of Directors for Astral Artists, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization.
