David Siegel, CPA

Senior Manager, Manufacturing and Distribution

David is an assurance senior manager at Aprio working with high growth privately held businesses. David spends most of his time serving FinTech companies with over 12 years of experience working with both startup and mature companies. Over his career David has experience working with real estate developers, manufacturing and distribution businesses and professional service organizations. This diverse background allows David to provide a wide range of viewpoints to companies in the FinTech industry, as technology companies often touch a variety of industries.

David has significant experience working with acquisitive private equity backed cross-border companies and understands the complexity of growing from a founder-led closely held business to an institutional-owned growth company.

David also has a passion for ESG and believes that over the next few years ESG will be a household term and companies will start to be evaluated not only on financial metrics, but also Environmental, Social and Governance metrics. David works with companies to develop an ESG strategy and to develop ESG reporting frameworks and metrics.

Finally, during 2020 David developed a deep understanding of the Payroll Protection Program (PPP) and has helped hundreds of companies across the US in many different industries obtain PPP loans, strategize on use of funds, and obtain PPP forgiveness.
