I serve organizations of all sizes in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. I have a particular interest in the technology industry.
My specialty
I offer an extraordinary depth of technical knowledge to my clients, especially related to the proper application of new accounting standards. I provide clients with best-practice advice related to financial reporting and other technical accounting matters. One of my strengths is breaking down complex accounting and reporting matters for the benefit of my clients. My expertise spans a wide range of areas, including:

- Lease accounting and revenue recognition
- Capitalization of internally and externally developed costs
- Foreign currency
- Goodwill and intangible asset impairment

Unique things about me
As a fur mom of three fur babies ─ including two pups that I rescued from kill shelters ─ I am passionate about rescuing homeless dogs all over the world. Outside of the office, I am active in an international rescue organization that rescues, rehabilitates and finds animals good homes. My dream is to retire one day surrounded by rescued animals, who will be enjoying the rest of their lives loved and cared for.
When I am not at work
I am a homebody and enjoy the simple things in life, like grocery shopping with my husband and children, watching movies or traveling. I also love off-roading with my husband.

Affiliations
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accountancy from University of the East and am currently working toward my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of the People. My professional affiliations include memberships with the Virginia Society of CPAs, Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA), Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) and Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
I have led women’s inclusion initiatives in the workplace and volunteered in my community and the classroom teaching financial literacy to students. I have also mentored younger professionals both inside and outside of the workplace.
