Who I work with
I serve commercial and residential real estate owners and developers, with a specialty in multifamily, market rate and affordable housing. I work closely with CFOs, presidents and controllers of development companies and management firms to provide timely, accurate financial reporting.
My specialty
I am a real estate audit and financial reporting presentation expert. I lead a team of audit and assurance professionals that provide our clients with high-quality audit deliverables and financial reporting that will pass the scrutiny of investors and lenders. I apply my technical expertise to deliver strategic insights and provide a better financial reporting client experience.
Results I have delivered
Whether I am guiding a client through cost certification to maximize a HUD mortgage or helping to increase their return on investment through state and federal tax credits, I work as an extension of my clients’ team to optimize their outcomes.
Unique things about me
If I hadn’t gone into accounting, I might have become a carpenter or a furniture craftsman because I love wood working and wood turning. Either way, it’s all about the numbers and the old adage holds true: “measure twice, cut once.”
When I am not at work
I love Hiking with my wife and two Corgis. We also own a horse and my wife rides in wife rides in equestrian competitions, so I travel with the dogs to see her events. I also enjoy golf and scuba diving. The latter of which comes in handy when I wind up in the water traps.

I earned my MACC, Master of Accountancy with a concentration in forensic accounting and my Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. My professional and civic affiliations include AICPA and GSCPA membership as well as board service on the Aprio Foundation.
