Who I work with
I serve growth-oriented businesses in the real estate sector, particularly in multifamily housing. Specifically, I have extensive experience working in the affordable housing, historic credit and student housing sectors. I also work with high-net-worth families, particularly those who own multigenerational businesses.
My specialty
I guide my real estate clients through all stages of special projects from structuring, financing, property development and management to assessing historic and low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) opportunities. In my work with high-net-worth families and business owners, I focus on providing income and estate tax planning, succession planning, and specialized family planning and growth strategies. I also have unique expertise in information systems and helping facilitate mergers and acquisitions for family-owned businesses.

I help my clients mitigate financial risk and protect the profitability or their businesses through smart tax planning strategies. Running a family business can be a highly emotional endeavor. I provide the advice and technical insights needed to set goals and successfully navigate the complexities of multigenerational businesses.
Unique things about me
I have been a lifelong football fan and even played on a national championship-winning team in high school! To this day, I love spending my weekends watching football with my family (go Bulldogs!).
When I am not at work
Most of my spare time involves my family — we do everything together, including attending school events, enjoying our family farm or catching up on all the fun of the day over dinner. I’m also an avid outdoorsman and love to hunt and fish; it’s a passion that has led me on travels from Canada to Exumas.
