Jim provides audit* and business consulting services for not‑for‑profit organizations, manufacturers, real estate developers, and service organizations. He delivers practical insight, strong governance, and thoughtful advisory support tailored to each client’s operational and strategic needs. His experience spans decades of service to both for‑profit and not‑for‑profit entities, allowing him to bring historical perspective and sound judgment to complex accounting and business issues.
Experience
With more than 35 years of experience in the accounting profession, Jim plays a central role in delivering audit and advisory services across a diverse client base. He remains actively involved in all phases of client engagements, combining deep technical experience with a consultative approach to help organizations navigate financial reporting, governance, and operational challenges. In addition to his client work, Jim is a frequent lecturer of business and accounting topics to professional and community groups.
Education & Affiliations
Jim earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from West Chester University and a Master of Taxation degree from Villanova University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He maintains a strong commitment to the not‑for‑profit community and has served in numerous leadership and governance roles, including as Chair of the Audit Committee for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. His professional and community involvement has included service with the Philadelphia Sports Congress, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Neumann University, the Union League of Philadelphia, the Irish American Business Chamber and Network, the Rosenbach Museum and Library, and as a founding member of The Friends of Erik – McNally’s Run for the Hill of It.
