Who I work with
I develop strong relationships with the clients whom I have the honor of advising. My clients are typically business owners, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Operating Officers, and other executives of closely-held and family-owned companies in the real estate, manufacturing, construction, trucking and transportation industries.
My specialty
As an advisor, I cultivate relationships which lead to opportunities for business growth, strategic tax and financial planning that increase business value and preserve personal wealth. I work to assemble the right team members from across Aprio service lines to help maximize profitability and manage risk for each client.
As Aprio’s Regional Chief Operating Officer of the Carolinas, I am excited to lead a growing team of Aprio business advisors with an unwavering commitment to client service, and I love being a part of such a dynamic and innovative organization.
Results I have delivered
I helped a family-owned trucking business grow from $5 million to over $40 million in revenue. I advised the successful transition of ownership to the second generation, and then consulted in the sale of the company. I secured the family over net $15 million in cash and developed a financial plan to preserve family members’ wealth for generations to come.
Unique things about me
I was named after a famous American basketball player, Jeff Mullins.
When I am not at work
My favorite pastime is watching movies. I am a certified movie buff. My favorites are watching action and epic adventure movies such as Star Wars.

Affiliations
I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management at Western Carolina University. In addition to my designation as a CPA, I earned the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation for leaders who have demonstrated superior people, digital and financial skills. I have served my community as a board member of a Christian daycare center for over 20 years. I am also served as the Treasurer and President of the Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce, and served as Treasurer of the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History.
