Overview

Jeff has over 25 years of experience leading growth, innovation, and strategy teams in aerospace, defense, and government markets. He specializes in corporate strategic and portfolio planning, geographic and customer-market expansion, M&A growth and diligence, and new business creation. As a Partner at Aprio, Jeff’s focus areas include integrating growth strategy services into Aprio’s existing client base, serving new aerospace & defense clients, deploying AI tool-based services, and expanding into new geographic markets.

Experience

He has worked as a management consultant, founded his own advisory firm, and served as a corporate executive with major industry players throughout his career. Before joining Aprio, Jeff was VP of Growth & Strategy at General Motors Defense, where he created and drove the vision and strategy to reestablish GM in government markets, helping lead its move into Army land systems and NASA lunar mobility.

Earlier, as Chief Strategy Officer at Exelis, he led strategy for a $5 billion government solutions provider from establishment as a public company through sale to Harris Corporation. As a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, Jeff led transformational growth strategies for Fortune aerospace & defense clients. Additionally, he has held positions with BAE Systems, Oceaneering, CSP Associates, and the Peace Corps, where he served as a Volunteer in Uzbekistan.

Education & Affiliations

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Skidmore College, a Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and an MBA from Georgetown University. He has participated in additional studies at the International Space University, the Wharton School, Harvard University, the London School of Economics, and Cambridge University. Jeff holds a Secret Clearance, and his professional affiliations include the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and the Professional Services Council (PSC).
