Jeffrey is a senior manager in Financial Consulting Services at Aprio. Before joining Aprio, Jeffrey was with Deloitte, Cox Enterprises, Inc., and BDO Atlanta, Georgia.
In his role, Jeffrey provides advice related to accounting and financial reporting for U.S. and international companies, either public or private. He is specifically focused on helping clients complete their accounting and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), annual and quarterly filings, historical financial statements of an acquired company, pro forma financial statements and carve-out financial statements. He also assists clients with the completion of technical accounting memos on any topic. Specifically, he has significant experience in the technical accounting areas of software revenue recognition (SITA, Witness Systems, CarrierWeb), construction revenue recognition (Benton Georgia), goodwill & intangibles impairment (Perma Fix Environmental Services, Brasseler USA, Dematic), business combinations (Benton Georgia), variable interest entities (Benton Georgia), share based compensation (Aptean, Brasseler USA, Carticept Medical, Dematic), and complex financial instruments (Perma Fix Environmental Services, Benton Georgia).
Jeffrey has experience working with companies of all sizes in the technology, manufacturing, construction, media and telecommunication industries. He supports clients that have a “Big Four” auditor and are in need of assistance with completing the audit support, stock-based compensation valuation and accounting, goodwill and intangible asset impairment testing, technical accounting white papers and drafting financial statements.
Jeffrey graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Accounting from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds a CPA in the State of Georgia. His professional affiliations include:
