Jennifer is a Director in Aprio’s Audit* Solutions practice, specializing in nonprofit audit and assurance. Since 2010, she has worked closely with tax exempt organizations in the healthcare, behavioral healthcare, social services, and membership organization space to deliver high‑quality financial reporting, strengthen governance, and support organizational compliance. Her commitment to nonprofit excellence and technical leadership has established her as a trusted advisor to mission‑driven organizations.
Experience
Jennifer has dedicated her career to serving nonprofit organizations, with more than a decade of specialized experience in audit and assurance. She regularly advises nonprofits on audit readiness, financial reporting requirements, governance expectations, and risk areas associated with financial statement, single audit, and employee benefit plan audits. She also brings deep proficiency in Uniform Guidance (Single Audits) and a strong background in employee benefit plan audits.
Education & Affiliations
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Accounting (summa cum laude) from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History (magna cum laude) from Humboldt State University, where she also accomplished the Secondary Education Program in Social Sciences. She is a CPA licensed in Oregon.
Jennifer’s professional involvement includes membership in the AICPA (including the Nonprofit Section) and the Oregon Society of CPAs (OSCPA), where she currently serves as Chair on the Not‑for‑Profit Strategic Committee. Furthermore, she contributes to Aprio’s internal nonprofit and inclusion initiatives, and she engages in global networking through AGN International nonprofit groups.
