Who I work with
My clients include controllers, CFOs, tax directors, vice presidents of tax and owners of companies of all sizes in the manufacturing, technology and insurance industries. I collaborate with other Aprio tax and accounting professionals to save my clients tax dollars and maximize the profitability of their businesses.
My specialty
I have 20+ years of experience in corporate tax strategic planning, compliance and accounting for income taxes under ASC 740. I work with clients to ensure they are maximizing all available tax planning strategies. I have extensive experience identifying and implementing programs including federal, state and local tax credits and incentives; R&D tax credits; jobs tax credits; and the CARES Act’s Employee Retention Credit (ERC).

From identifying all available tax credits and incentives and creating tax-efficient structuring for buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, to ensuring clients have the correct tax disclosures for their financial statements — I ensure that your business is operating in the most tax-efficient manner to support your growth strategies.
Unique things about me
I am passionate about giving back to my community, and I volunteer at the Jimmie Hale Mission and Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. I also coach softball and little league baseball for our Oak Mountain community teams.
When I am not at work
I love hanging out with my wife and three children, and we enjoy annual family summer trips to Portland, Maine.
