As a Tax partner at Aprio, he serves corporations in manufacturing, distribution, technology, and life sciences while helping expand Aprio’s presence in the Chicago market. Experience
John specializes in corporate tax and income tax accounting under Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740. Before joining Aprio, he spent more than 14 years at a national public accounting firm, where he became a partner in 2019 and led the firm’s Central Region ASC 740 practice. John also served as a tax officer at a Chicago-based private bank and began his career at a Big Four accounting firm.
Education & Affiliations
John earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from DePaul University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
