Overview
José is a Director of Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence in Aprio’s Technology Advisory practice. He co-leads the strategy, delivery, and growth of the firm’s Data & AI practice. José is an author, podcaster, speaker, and lecturer sharing knowledge in data, digital marketing, business transformation, and entrepreneurship.
Experience
He brings over 20 years of leadership across financial services, consumer goods, professional services, and media. Since joining Aprio in December 2024, José has shaped the practice’s operating model and delivery framework. He also authored the agentic AI fabric enabling multi-agent solutions. He built BRIDGE, an AI Agentic development pipeline.
José has led large-scale data and AI initiatives, overseeing advanced analytics programs, governance frameworks, and AI-driven business models. His career includes leadership roles in which he built and scaled data organizations, delivering value across financial services, health tech, professional services, and manufacturing.
Education & Affiliations
José holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes and an MBA from IE University, Spain. He hosts the Mundo Data Driven podcast and LinkedIn newsletter, and wrote Sin Miedo a Emprender con Vibe Coding (2025).
