He has deep experience implementing secure systems to protect client data and firm infrastructure. Kevin designs and manages scalable technology solutions that grow with business needs. He supports internal operations and client-facing systems and provides strategic direction for IT initiatives across the firm. Kevin’s specializations include accounts payable audit*, employee benefit plan audits, financial planning, financial reporting, information technology, payroll services, and tax planning.
Before joining Aprio, Kevin spent 35 years working at Mize CPAs Inc. (formerly Mize Houser), with his most recent role as VP of Information Technology. In addition to providing traditional accounting and IT services to privately-owned local firms, Mize Houser serves a nationwide base of quick-service restaurant owner/operators.
Education & Affiliations
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Washburn University. He holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification and is a member of the Topeka IT Leadership Forum.
