Overview
Lisa works with CFOs, controllers, directors of finance/accounting and accounting managers across a wide spectrum of industries. Acting as an extension of the client’s accounting team, she helps tackle the finance and accounting challenges associated with transformational transactions and emerging accounting standards successfully.
Experience
She has experience working with private and public companies of all sizes in a variety of industries including media/telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, software, medical research, and freight forwarding and logistics. Lisa’s technical accounting areas of specialty include lease accounting (ASC 842 and IFRS 16), stock-based compensation (ASC 718), and revenue recognition (ASC 606). She liaises with your auditors upon adoption of a new accounting standard, address related internal control challenges, and establish related accounting policies and procedures. Lisa also assists clients with:
- Financial statement and SEC filing preparation
- Purchase accounting, resulting from a recent merger or acquisition
- Accounting and audit* readiness, related to an IPO or other transaction alternative
- Evaluation of business processes and improvement of roadmaps
Education & Affiliations
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Eastern University and Masters of Accountancy from Villanova University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
