Overview
Lori L. Pittman is a senior finance and audit leader with more than 25 years advising middle-market organizations through financial statement audits and complex transactions. She brings a big-picture, growth-minded approach to guiding stakeholders through change, with a focus on quality control systems and compliance with professional standards.
Experience
In leadership roles, Lori has led audits*, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures; supervised and developed teams; and supported business development. Her work applies GAAP and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) audit standards, strengthens internal control and risk assessment practices, and supports transaction due diligence, financial reporting, and audit quality. She has also overseen peer review and internal inspection efforts, coordinated audit CPE, and partnered with tax teams to align audit and tax activities.
Education & Affiliations
She earned a BBA in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University and holds an active CPA license in Arizona and Kansas. She has served in leadership roles supporting community organizations, including Girls on the Run Serving Greater Kansas City and the Blue Valley High School Home Run Club.
