Overview
LT (Lixun) Tang has more than 17 years of public and corporate accounting experience where he advises clients on audit* review and consulting engagements. He specializes in serving small businesses, agriculture operations, non-profits, and financial institutions with annual revenue ranging from $2 million to $115 million. LT brings a practical, controls-minded approach to helping clients strengthen financial reporting, manage risk, and make informed business decisions as they grow.
Experience
LT has deep experience navigating the complex nature of corporate accounting, internal controls, fraud detection and prevention, and litigation support through forensic accounting and data analysis. Prior to joining Aprio, he worked as an in-house controller for a cabinet manufacturer where he led the finance support for the implementation of a new accounting system, aligned operations with finance, and improved cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
Education & Affiliations
LT earned both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
