Who I work with
Working in the financial services sector, I work frequently with onshore and offshore hedge funds, fund of funds, non-clearing and self-clearing broker dealers, private equity, venture capital and real estate funds, and registered investment advisors. My client base ranges in size and scope from emerging managers, start-ups and boutique broker dealers to multi-billion-dollar global firms with a wide range of trading and investing strategies with complex financial instruments.
My specialty
With 30+ years in public accounting primarily focused on the financial services sector, I have come to specialize in providing technical expertise and insight to my clients. But, just as important, I truly value building strong, lasting relationships with my clients. I listen to better understand the context of their needs and wants and work hard to ensure we work together to provide them options to work toward the results they are seeking while meeting their goals and/or deadlines.
Results I have delivered
My experience has led me to manage a large book of business and in financial services, which is heavily regulated, I have been fortunate enough throughout my career, where I have never had a client miss a regulatory mandated filing deadline.
Unique things about me
I seek to maintain relationships with as many people as possible whether I met them briefly or have known them my entire life. And yet, I do not have a Facebook account!
When I am not at work
I can be found spending time with my family. My 3 kids are heavily involved in music and sports. My wife and I enjoy supporting them at all of their events which has taken us not only locally but to multiple states as well as London. I am a huge New York sports fan and have season tickets to both the Islanders and Jets – I attend games as often as I can! I also enjoy gardening and built my own raised bed garden to plant in each spring.

I earned a B.S. in Accounting from York College of Pennsylvania. I am a member of the AICPA, as well as the New York State Society of CPAs, where I participate in committees such as the Stockbrokerage Committee, Investment Management Committee and the Digital Assets Committee.
