Michael Lange, CPA
Michael is a partner in the Assurance practice at Aprio and a leader of the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution group. He has experience auditing pre-revenue startups to companies with revenues of more than $500 million and is well-versed in technical issues such as complex revenue recognition, business combinations, and complex debt and equity structures.
A recognized thought leader, Michael regularly authors articles for Aprio’s What’s Nextblog and newsletters. He speaks annually at the Georgia Manufacturing Awards Luncheon on topics ranging from the Internet of Things to the impact of tax reform. In his role as a leader in the Manufacturing and Distribution group, Michael helps develop the group’s strategy and leads marketing and business development initiatives.
In addition to serving the manufacturing and distribution industry, Michael has served technology, professional services, and retail and hospitality companies across the United States.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Auburn University and has continued advanced training in accounting and auditing practices, including becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner. His professional affiliations include:
