With more than seven years of experience in accounting advisory and technical accounting services, Mollie Carroll advises middle-market and private equity-backed organizations on complex accounting and financial reporting matters. She brings a practical, risk-aware approach to SEC reporting, IPO and SPAC readiness, and revenue recognition, working across technology, life sciences, manufacturing, and energy.
Experience
Mollie partners with CFOs, controllers, and finance leaders at middle-market and growth-stage companies to modernize their accounting and financial reporting functions. Whether a company is preparing for its first institutional raise, scaling through acquisition, or transitioning to public-company reporting, she helps leadership teams build the technical infrastructure and institutional rigor needed to support the next stage of growth.
Mollie assists senior finance and executive stakeholders through revenue recognition under ASC 606, business combinations under ASC 805, and complex equity and debt transactions, including preferred shares and warrants. She has supported multiple companies through the initial public offering (IPO) and special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) processes across manufacturing, technology, and life sciences.
Prior to her current role at Aprio, she served as a Director of CFO Advisory Services at Cherry Bekaert, where she led accounting advisory engagements across diverse industries. She also served as a Corporate Auditor at Bridgestone Americas, where she gained valuable industry experience in internal audit and corporate governance.
Education & Affiliations
Mollie earned a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Murray State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She was recognized as a Top 30 Under 30 honoree in Nashville, Tennessee for leadership and philanthropic contributions.
