Nicole has over 20 years of government contracting experience, specializing in operations leadership, financial compliance, and building scalable systems for defense and intelligence companies. Her proficiency includes accounting, compliance management, system implementation, and technology optimization. Nicole helps fast-growing government contractors strengthen financial infrastructure and improve performance. For more than a decade, she has held senior leadership roles. Additionally, she supports organizations navigating complex DoD, intelligence community, and DCAA requirements.
Experience
Before joining Aprio, Nicole served for more than 10 years at CAVU Advisors, where she led all aspects of operations and served as a CFO Group Lead supporting clients within the intelligence community. Her leadership included building and overseeing a PMO group that produces more than 500 monthly reports, manages thousands of purchase transactions, and processes complex agency invoicing. Nicole also designed and automated operational workflows, reducing reporting and invoicing timelines from days or weeks to just hours.
Nicole’s background includes more than two decades of government contracting proficiency, with extensive experience supporting DoD contractors and intelligence community entities. Her teams have participated in hundreds of DCAA audits*, giving her a strong command of the compliance landscape and necessary internal controls. She is known for optimizing systems, streamlining processes, and implementing scalable infrastructures that support long-term growth.
