Richard has over 20 years of financial industry experience. His specialties include asset management, financial planning and providing risk management strategies that include life insurance, disability and long-term care insurance. Richard coordinates investments, financial planning and tax planning to provide clients with the best contextual advice. He serves as a financial steward to coordinate activities with Aprio tax advisors and other providers to ensure implementation is aligned with strategy to maximize outcomes. Simply put, Richie strives to provide clients with a better wealth management experience.
Richard brings a wealth of risk management experience to the Aprio team, including deep experience as a Settlement Planning Specialist. He provides guidance and management controls to safeguard plaintiff jury awards in personal injury, wrongful death and malpractice cases through structured settlements funded through annuities.
When I am not at work
When he is not at work, he can be found at the pizza oven in his back yard cooking for his wife and three daughters. He makes a mean truffle and fresh basil pie. Richard is also an avid sports enthusiast with loyalties to the New York Rangers and the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

Richard earned his bachelor’s degree in business from St. John’s University and received his Certificate as a Retirement Planning Specialist from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His professional affiliations include membership in the St. John’s Alumni Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
