Who I work with
I work with domestic and international companies of all sizes who need tax structuring and transfer pricing guidance. My clients include international CFOs, vice presidents s of finance and tax directors. I make sure my clients have the right transfer pricing policies and documentation in place to maintain IRS compliance and maximize profitability.
My specialty
I help clients manage tax-efficient operations across borders, and I have over 35 years of international tax consulting experience. I create structures that reduce global effective tax rates, develop transfer pricing policies and documentation that avoid costly penalties, and manage effective tax rates. I help clients claim export tax incentives that reduce their U.S. income tax and help them remain competitive globally.
Results I have delivered
I enjoy answering questions about navigating FDII, the benefits of IC-DISC and setting up offshore operations in Puerto Rico to reduce taxes. I’m passionate about knowing and applying tax laws to help clients pay the minimum required tax, and I focus on delivering results.
Unique things about me
I am a right brain/left brain type of guy. I play blues guitar and can create tax structures that keep you from singing the blues. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music and a Master of Accounting in Taxation from the University of Georgia.
When I am not at work
I play basketball and walk 50 miles a week with my 120 lb. St. Bernard, Maxine. My professional affiliations include the GSCPA, AICPA and the International Fiscal Association.
