Who I work with
I serve a broad range of US-based clients, including small to mid-size legal firms, medical practices and other professional services firms that are putting pension plans in place. I enjoy working closely with business owners and plan sponsors to maximize their tax deductions and retirement savings.
My specialty
I specialize in helping business owners achieve their personal retirement savings goals by leveraging all of the available deductions the balances in their company retirement plans can provide. I simplify the complexity of managing cash balances to keep staff costs low. I leverage 25+ years of plan design experience as an actuary to provide effective strategies that enhance plan value in good times and less-than-good times.
Results I have delivered
Very few TPA firms have an enrolled actuary on staff. My strategic insights, careful calculation and preparation of actuarial schedules for timely tax filings have contributed to the retirement readiness of thousands of clients and their employees. Within the first year of leading Aprio Benefit Advisors, I have helped 40 new clients reap the benefits of cash-combo retirement plans.
Unique things about me
I love to travel and experience cultures and cuisines from around the world. When I was in college, I lived with villagers in India for three weeks to experience rural life. We lived in makeshift mud huts and there were no cell phones, nor internet back then.
When I am not at work
Cooking is my relaxation and I love it. My husband is a professor, and we enjoy traveling to remote locations together. I am passionate about yoga and practice it every day.

I earned my Master of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and hold the designation of ASA; I am also an enrolled actuary (EA). My professional affiliations include membership in the American Academy of Actuaries MAAA and the ASPPA MSPA.
