Simeon Wallis, CFA
Chief Investment Officer, Aprio Wealth Management
Simeon is the Chief Investment Officer of Aprio Wealth Management and the Director of Aprio Family Office. Simeon brings two decades of professional investing experience in publicly traded and privately held companies, as well as senior-level operating and strategy consulting experiences.
Simeon earned his Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and an undergraduate degree in History, cum laude, from Duke University. He annually guest lectures at Columbia University’s business school in the Value Investing Program on companies that can sustainably grow and was profiled in a leading investment publication, Graham & Doddsville.
Prior to joining Aprio, Simeon was the Investment Director of ValorBridge Partners, a billion dollar Atlanta-based family office and holding company. In this role, Simeon oversaw the management, research and due diligence processes for ValorBridge’s investments in public and private holdings, and across the capital structure. Simeon was also the COO of a ValorBridge healthcare portfolio company. He advised ValorBridge’s group of operating companies on corporate development and strategic opportunities. Additionally, Simeon served on and chaired boards as well as managed third-party relationships on behalf of the organization.
Before joining ValorBridge, Simeon advised hedge funds and asset managers with their security analysis. He helped manage San Francisco Bay area-based Lateef Investment Management’s multi-billion-dollar concentrated portfolio and was an analyst at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, Evercore Asset Management, and started his public investing career working for Mario Gabelli at Gabelli & Co in New York.
Simeon lives in Atlanta with his wife Susan and two daughters Lilah and Noa.
