Who I work with
I work closely with the controllers and CFOs from start-ups to large businesses operating within the technology and government contracting sectors.
My specialty
I specialize in individual and corporate tax planning and compliance. With over 20 years of experience in S and C corporation services, I help clients with their income tax filings, annual tax planning and business exit strategizing with tax modeling. In addition, I also advise clients on tax matters pertaining to the sale and purchase of businesses and restructuring.
Results I have delivered
I advised a client, along with other team members, to sell their corporate stock to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and deferred the taxes related to the recognition of nearly $20 million of capital gains through the IRC 1042 tax election.
Unique things about me
As a teenager, I travelled solo around Europe during the 1980s for three months.
When I am not at work
I enjoy exercising, playing volleyball, and making time to enjoy lakes and parks, including kayaking with my daughter.
