I primarily work with clients in the real estate and professional services sectors, specializing in addressing the unique challenges and opportunities these industries present. Whether guiding closely held real estate enterprises or advising professional service firms, I focus on delivering tailored solutions that help clients achieve long-term success and navigate complex tax strategies.
My specialty
My specialty is working with closely held and family-owned real estate businesses and multi-partner professional services firms, and navigating complex income tax planning and compliance. If you asked my clients and colleagues, they’d describe me as someone who always advocates for their best interests. They might also say I’m a “client whisperer,” attentive and approachable, with a genuine focus on understanding and addressing their needs.
Unique things about me
I could spend the entire day watching soccer if I had the time. As an original season ticket holder for Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), I’m deeply committed to the local game and passionately support Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. Soccer is more than just a hobby—it’s a big part of who I am.
When I am not at work
Outside of work, I’m a former runner and a nationally-certified youth and young adult soccer referee. I enjoy staying active through hiking and cycling and spend much time tending to our vegetable garden. I also love relaxing on the beach in Carpinteria, California, reading, solving crossword puzzles, and watching the sunset. Time outdoors is something I truly cherish.
Affiliations
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Taxation from California State University, Northridge. Professionally, I’m a member of the AICPA and CalCPA. I’m also deeply involved in charitable work as an Officer, Board Member, and Executive Committee member for New Horizons, a 70-year-old nonprofit that supports individuals with special needs. In addition, I serve as the Program Committee chairperson, having previously chaired the Finance Committee.
