Who I work with
My primary focus has been government contractors working in the professional services sector in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. My clients have revenue ranging from $10M to over $200M and have all contract types: cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF), time-and-materials (T&M) and fixed price (FP). My clients must follow the principles of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and in some instances the guidelines of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).
My specialty
I specialize in the auditing of private companies’ financial statements under GAAS/GAAP. I help clients navigate the world of government contracting under the FAR guidelines. I also help them interpret GAAP and assist them with accounting for transactions accordingly.

In 2022, I helped more than 20 audit review clients meet their financial statement deadlines.
Unique things about me
I just competed in and finished the Dublin, Ireland Marathon in the fall of 2022. After years of cheering on my husband and three children as they ran their marathons, I thought it was time to have my own. My family is from Ireland (my father hails from Kerry and my maternal grandparents are from Galway), so I was proud as a first-generation Irish-American, that my first and final marathon was in Dublin, Ireland!
When I am not at work
For the past few years, pickleball has been my passion – it’s the fastest growing sport in the country. My husband, John, and I play about 3 times a week. We get our entire family and extended family playing in the summertime. We had a few team members in the Rockville Pickleball League this past fall and are looking forward to the spring season and getting more team members involved. I love spending time at the beach in Ocean City, NJ, especially in the wintertime!

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland. I am a CPA in the state of Maryland, a member of the Government Contracts Committee with the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accounts (MACPA), and a GovConNet Council member with Montgomery County, MD.
