Experience
Tom has worked closely with owner-managed businesses to address their tax, accounting, and planning needs. His background includes experience supporting both assurance and taxation engagements, which shaped his ability to view a client’s business and personal finances as an interconnected whole. Tom regularly applies expertise in financial accounting, US GAAP, financial analysis, and corporate tax, along with strategic and personal financial planning. His work often extends to estate and gift tax planning, charitable giving strategies, and retirement planning tailored to business owners and their families.
Education & Affiliations
Tom earned both his BS and MSA in Accountancy from Bentley University and Bentley’s McCallum Graduate School of Business. He also holds a Financial Planning Certificate from Boston University. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and he holds a designation as a Certified Financial Planner.
Tom is also involved in two organizations focused on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). He sits on the board of JB’s Keys to DMD and is a Steering Committee Member of the Duchenne Program at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
