Who I work with
I work with executive directors, CFOs and controllers of nonprofits and closely-held for-profit businesses, providing audits, tax and consulting services. Talking with clients about what is affecting their businesses and how they might respond gets me going in the morning. Spending time understanding a client’s operations, history and activities is the best way to spend a day!
My specialty
A self-described serial volunteer, I love to get involved in the community and believe we have a responsibility to give back if we are able. I do that through volunteerism and by sharing my knowledge of nonprofit audits, accounting, single audits, financial statements and tax services. By providing information returns that clearly communicate the benefits an organization brings, I help tell the story of how nonprofits serve their communities.
Affiliations
I hold degrees in mechanical engineering and economics from UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz, respectively. I also have an MBA and a Master in Tax both from Golden Gate University. I am a member of both AICPA and CalCPA and serve on the boards of the Girl Scouts of Northern California, Financial Women of San Francisco, Sparkle Foundation, Contra Costa County 4H, Claycord 4H and CoCo Kids.
