
Overview
Will has more than a decade of experience serving nonprofit clients, particularly those involved in advocacy (501(c)6 or 501(c)4). As a partner and mentor in Aprio’s nonprofit assurance* practice, Will works with industry leaders to continuously improve the group’s processes and performance. He enjoys finding innovative ways to improve processes both internally and externally. Will takes pride in building relationships with his clients that are based on frequent communication, deep technical insight, trust, and stability.
Experience
He specializes in providing assurance services, nonprofit consulting and board education/training. Will works closely with controllers, directors of finance, CFOs, and board members of tax-exempt organizations with a total revenue and support of $5 million or more. Will is a thought leader in the nonprofit industry, frequently presenting at conferences for exempt organizations. He has achieved exceptional results for his clients, including bringing down an 11-month audit* process to just 3 months for a new client.
Examples of clients Will has worked with include Council of Graduate Schools, National Council of Nonprofits, Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility, and Civic Nation.
Education & Affiliations
Will earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University. He is a member of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs and the AICPA. Will is the Chair of the Audit Committee of the University Club of Washington, DC. He is also an Eagle Scout.
