Overview

Bill is a seasoned CPA with four additional certifications in the fields of valuation and forensic accounting. With three decades of assurance and advisory services experience, he has collaborated with middle-market companies, entrepreneurs, attorneys, private equity groups, investment bankers, and lenders on a wide range of projects aimed at reducing risks and navigating crises, including complex valuations, financial disputes, accounting investigations, and M&A due diligence.

Experience

Bill serves individual and corporate clients in a variety of industries, including government contracting, technology, real estate & construction, healthcare, and professional services. As practice leader for Dispute Consulting & Litigation Support, he specializes in matters such as breach of contract actions, high-net-worth divorces, post-acquisition disputes, estate and trust controversies, shareholder disputes, and employment claims.

Education & Affiliations

Bill earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Operations Management from James Madison University. His certifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV®), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF®), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA), the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Bill currently serves on the board of directors of the Montgomery College Foundation, and is a past president of the Aronson Foundation.
